What if…

I am convinced that corruption has subverted every aspect of American government, and no human being can right things again. Donald Trump promises to correct matters upon election next year. The elections of 2020 and 2022 have been hijacked beyond any doubt of honest people without consequences; therefore, it is unreasonable to expect no interference will mar the next one. Only by God’s grace will Trump or any other non-globalist obtain a future presidency.

Is even God sufficient to remove the wicked from their places of power? HE IS THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN. His people are pleading with Him to do so. Justice only stands because He upholds it. When wicked people come to power, He demonstrates His sovereignty by uncovering their wicked deeds and casting them down. The first part is happening now on a daily basis. As God sits on His throne, the second part is sure to follow!

Jesus reiterated to this world’s ruler, Satan himself, that “man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.” In His prayer recorded in John 17, He acknowledged to the Father “thy word is truth.” Many in politics and the public eye have despised truth, burying it under endless lies. Having rejected truth, they have forgotten that God upholds His word, so truth will certainly prevail.

Suppose He sends a plague unlike any seen before, where those who have buried truth find it sickens them? They have no choice but to vomit it up for relief in run-on confessions, expelling the very word of God that sustains them, then drop dead, empty. “The word of God is living and powerful, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit…”(Hebrews 4:12) It has happened before. Remember Ananias and Sapphira? They held to a lie and the truth cut them off. Indeed, justice began in the house of God. It certainly won’t stop there!

Exposure alone doesn’t glorify God. The fear of the Lord must accompany sin’s exposure to glorify Him; otherwise, wickedness would only be replaced with more wickedness. God will share His glory with no man. It may well be a plague of this kind will run its course in less than 24 hours. The fear of the Lord would move many to repent, and no one else could take credit for any of it!

The Church that exits this world in answer to Jesus Christ’s call will do so triumphantly, not in shame or disgrace. That means our prayers will be answered in the sight of the whole world; otherwise, He is not glorified. We reflect Him, and He is certainly not powerless or ineffective. If Satan will triumph against the tribulation saints, God will make sure that His earlier victory is not forgotten!

These Things Must Come To Pass

“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are they who do hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled.” Matthew 5:4-6

I am sick for the nation I grew up in, the United States of America. It is broken beyond any remedy I can imagine and all I can do is cry out to the Lord! Lies are given credence while truth is denied, disrespected and discarded. Free and fair elections are made null & void by ongoing organized fraud. The highest offices of law enforcement are corrupt, selectively enforcing laws according to their corrupt agenda. The courts wink at those complicit in defrauding the American people, while declaring whoever stands for the truth guilty. The innocent are imprisoned, but legitimate felons are released to prey on the public. An invasion is welcomed across our southern border, yet citizens’ rights are being stripped away a little more every day. And those in authority who supposedly “represent” us call US anti-American, terrorists & extremists, projecting their evil onto us shamelessly.

I want to vomit when faced with this reality; then I remember what Jesus said. “When you see all these things come to pass, look up, for your redemption draweth nigh.” Luke 21:28 It is devastating to watch the nation I love and cherish, governed of the people, by the people & for the people, being subsumed by globalists who view us as no more than a drain on resources! I mourn now, but Jesus sent me a Comforter. Per His instruction, I received Him, so the nearness of His loving Presence reminds me how I am loved. I am not able to set things right in this world, but He who holds it in his hand declares that my brethren and I who stand by faith in His word will inherit it!

We hunger and thirst after righteousness. The promise is that we shall be filled! What defines righteousness? Only the judgment of God can do it. It establishes His blamelessness, first among his own household, then to the world at large. Judgment begins in the house of God, then goes on to fill the earth with the knowledge of the Lord. A counterfeit church will be exposed by it, and the earth will experience tribulation as all the rebellious stand defiant against His call to repent and be saved. They are engineering their own demise. They cannot win, because “the earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness thereof.” I Corinthians 10:26

Who do you trust?

The early Church described in Acts had many apostles and one doctor we’re told about, Luke. Church leaders now are entitled Doctor, while few agree on the identity of any apostles! Has anyone else noticed how things have turned around? One gives his life for the gospel of Jesus Christ, while the other earns a livelihood seeking constantly to increase the size of his platform. When the Lord anoints someone not affiliated with the current church systems, they are attacked, de-platformed or just plain ignored by those same systems. Cancel culture learned how to suppress truth by watching religious leaders tamp down the servants of the Lord, folks.

Keith Green came out with a song in his short ministry, “Living in Laodicea.” It’s where we are now. Many, MANY of the “saved” are trusting in their own knowledge without ever presenting themselves to Christ in repentance, so they don’t know Him. What will He say to those He turns away? “I never knew you.” The same churches that preach the rapture is imminent will still be here afterwards, for the most part. If they’re right with Him, they should be out of here the moment He calls! He said, “My sheep know my voice,” remember?

The world tells us knowledge is power, but it pulls no weight with God. No one dazzles Him! The truth is, knowledge provides power to deceive one’s self and others. Trusting and acting on God’s Word is still the only way to be justified in His sight. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father but by Me.” The war on truth in general is a war on the gospel of Christ specifically.

The only way His Bride, the Church He built, can sit that out is if we are removed from the Earth! We who owe Him our lives MUST stand for truth, just like we must breathe. Anything less betrays Him, and love is incapable of betrayal. Make sure your trust is in God’s Word, not in men and women who count on you giving to their ministries. Those with divided interests will not heed Christ’s call upward. “Where a man’s treasure is, there will his heart be also.”

“In Your Patience Possess Ye Your Souls” Luke 21:19

Jeremiah was known as the weeping prophet for good reason. God showed him how his nation would be destroyed, then he watched it happen in his lifetime, despite all the words of warning God gave him to declare to the people. Very few repented at those words. Men rejected the truth because they had no love for it, loving themselves instead. It led to disaster when they chose to cling to reassuring lies. To reject truth is to reject God, for He abides in truth.

“…because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. For this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie; That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”  II Thessalonians 2:10-12

What does this delusion look like? The best illustration comes from an old comic book called The Shadow, printed nearly 90 years ago. This generation might remember the movie remake starring Alec Baldwin in 1994. The Shadow was a superhero who had the power to cloud men’s minds, so they could not see what was before them. It was potent enough to hide a skyscraper from those in the city around it!

People who choose to reject the truth receive a judgment from God, removing their ability to discern it. Truth is our anchor to reality. Once it is cut loose, they are adrift and lost. Grasping for something to hold onto, any lie becomes a lifeline they are unwilling to release. Truth offends them because it reveals the lie they value; therefore, they declare ALL who stand in truth to be liars — especially Christ!

The division in America is not political, but spiritual; the result of so many rejecting God’s grace and favor. This nation will never be great again, without Him. It has become a prey for those who suppress the truth in unrighteousness. It is time for the godly to leave, but there is nowhere we can go on this planet to get clear of the evil that has overtaken it. Our refuge is in Jesus words:
