What if…

I am convinced that corruption has subverted every aspect of American government, and no human being can right things again. Donald Trump promises to correct matters upon election next year. The elections of 2020 and 2022 have been hijacked beyond any doubt of honest people without consequences; therefore, it is unreasonable to expect no interference will mar the next one. Only by God’s grace will Trump or any other non-globalist obtain a future presidency.

Is even God sufficient to remove the wicked from their places of power? HE IS THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN. His people are pleading with Him to do so. Justice only stands because He upholds it. When wicked people come to power, He demonstrates His sovereignty by uncovering their wicked deeds and casting them down. The first part is happening now on a daily basis. As God sits on His throne, the second part is sure to follow!

Jesus reiterated to this world’s ruler, Satan himself, that “man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.” In His prayer recorded in John 17, He acknowledged to the Father “thy word is truth.” Many in politics and the public eye have despised truth, burying it under endless lies. Having rejected truth, they have forgotten that God upholds His word, so truth will certainly prevail.

Suppose He sends a plague unlike any seen before, where those who have buried truth find it sickens them? They have no choice but to vomit it up for relief in run-on confessions, expelling the very word of God that sustains them, then drop dead, empty. “The word of God is living and powerful, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit…”(Hebrews 4:12) It has happened before. Remember Ananias and Sapphira? They held to a lie and the truth cut them off. Indeed, justice began in the house of God. It certainly won’t stop there!

Exposure alone doesn’t glorify God. The fear of the Lord must accompany sin’s exposure to glorify Him; otherwise, wickedness would only be replaced with more wickedness. God will share His glory with no man. It may well be a plague of this kind will run its course in less than 24 hours. The fear of the Lord would move many to repent, and no one else could take credit for any of it!

The Church that exits this world in answer to Jesus Christ’s call will do so triumphantly, not in shame or disgrace. That means our prayers will be answered in the sight of the whole world; otherwise, He is not glorified. We reflect Him, and He is certainly not powerless or ineffective. If Satan will triumph against the tribulation saints, God will make sure that His earlier victory is not forgotten!

The Sign of Solomon’s Judgment

I Kings 3:16-28 recounts the story of two prostitutes contending over a baby in King Solomon’s court. Though the King could have refused to hear them, due to their illegal livelihood, he did not for the child’s sake. With no witnesses, each claim seemed to have equal merit and neither woman would recant. In a moment of God-given brilliance, the King ordered the infant be divided and half presented to each woman. One woman declared that was fair. Horrified, the other ceded her claim so the child might live. The King rescinded his order, declaring the latter was the real mother, and gave the baby to her.

In 2020, two men laid claim to America’s rule. The nation’s future hung in the balance; it was deeply divided. One man pursued the hearts and favor of the people, even under a threatening pandemic – and the people responded. The other hid in his basement, terrified he might become infected. He barely campaigned in person, bragging on national television that his hopes of gaining the Presidency would be obtained through “the most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in history.” The election would be stolen on his behalf. As, indeed, it was.

The former President sought to contest this injustice, but every avenue he sought to explore was closed to him. The Supreme Court refused to hear his case. The FBI didn’t investigate the other man’s claim of dependence on fraud, according to their duty, but looked the other way, even when evidence began piling up. “Extensive voter fraud organization,” the man said. Federal law enforcement, the Judicial system and the Legislative bodies all acted in such a way as to display bias and imply complicity. Even honest journalism was silenced as the false narrative of the vile new ruler was given credence, ramrodded into the public eye as legitimate.

When a trap was sprung in the Capitol on January 6, 2021, the division of the nation resulted in bloodshed. The former President, heartbroken, conceded the race rather than see America fall into a civil war. He cared about us! Do you see the parallel with the case brought before King Solomon? It is being repeated at a national level. One man divides the nation while it sickens and declines, while the other does what he can to ensure its survival and nourishment. That’s what a legitimate king does for the kingdom he loves!

There is a King of kings and Lord of lords in heaven that judges nations. He routinely puts down one king and exalts another. He has plainly shown thtough a series of circumstances which of these men truly loves America. All that remains is the decree to put the nation back in his hands. It is a divine judgment we can count on. Can He who gave wisdom to Solomon possibly display less Himself?

A Disaster Is Coming

This isn’t a prophecy, just recognition of the condition of people’s hearts. Scripture says the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. A people who neglect to revere Him will not cling to Him for salvation, yet it cannot be obtained in anyone other than Jesus Christ. A people who do not reverence Him must repent to walk in His salvation, and none will repent if His protection makes them comfortable where they are. Therefore, in His mercy He removes His protection.

It doesn’t take long for Satan to foment trouble. It is permitted by a sovereign loving God who knows how we need Him. It takes trouble sometimes to remind us how true that is! When we suffer loss, the point is driven home. The Lord doesn’t enjoy seeing us troubled, but He does what He must to get us to return to Him. Our eternal destination hangs in the balance!

God demanded one thing from ancient Egypt: let His people go. When the nation refused that one command, they disrespected Him. He plagued them with disaster upon disaster until their hearts were broken by the loss of their children. Pharaoh finally complied, but reneged on his decision. The result? His power was broken in the midst of the Red Sea while trying to thwart God’s will. Egypt survived, but they never recovered their former might.

No nation that opposes the God of Heaven will fare any better than Egypt did. He is not diminished in His power, nor has time affected His vision. It is dangerous to mistake His patience for indifference. Biden’s hardened heart is VERY reminiscent of Pharaoh’s at this time, but unlike Pharaoh, his claim to power is illegitimate. His rule will be toppled as a consequence of the disaster to come, because he challenged righteousness and called it evil. God takes such actions personally!

Judgment begins in the household of God. Don’t assume you are exempt! Smugness opens us up to calamity. Present your heart to the Lord without reservation, so no part of your life is out from under the covering of His blood. He will preserve and even bless whoever trusts in Him in the midst of disaster, if we abide under Christ’s covering. Psalms 91:7 says, A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. The Lord still knows how to preserve those who belong to Him!
